Its 32-bit float recording and dual A/D converters provide a wide dynamic range without requiring traditional gain adjustment, making it especially useful for unpredictable sound levels. Featuring two locking XLR inputs with phantom power, it pairs easily with shotgun microphones, boom setups and lavalier systems. At only 242g, the F3 can be mounted directly onto a camera rig, boom pole or carried as part of a lightweight sound setup.
