It’s steady handheld with up to 5.5 stops IS (up to 7.5 with Coordinated IS), fast and quiet Dual Nano USM AF, and close focusing for tight detail shots. It also matches the RF 24–105mm f/2.8L Z in size and filters, making lens swaps and matte box setups much easier.
